Happy G.I.Joe Day, everyone! Today, to celebrate the occasion, Hasbro has dropped a large collection of digital renders, giving us a look at what’s in the pipeline for the G.I.Joe Classified Series brand.
A lot of the following has been leaked, but it’s great to see the official digital drops. Check it out, followed by official word from Hasbro on the drops. –
- Mainline figures revealed include Breaker (Cartoon version, M.A.S.S. Device subline) and Iron Grenadiers Darklon!
- A pair of (2) packs are coming our way, with one representing both G.I.Joe and Cobra Divers from the M.A.S.S. device subline and a 2pack containing the highly anticipated Cobra ninjas, Slice & Dice!
- Retro Cardback figures include Cover Girl (With blonde hair), Flint and a Cobra Tele-Viper.
- In the vehicle category comes a Cobra S.N.A.K.E. Armor which is absolutely killer, alongside the A.W.E. Striker with Crankcase for the G.I.Joe team!

For me, it’s got to be that S.N.A.K.E. Sure, I love Darklon, but at the risk of sounding like “one of those guys”, I prefer my Darklon custom over the official version, so I’ll stick with that.
Yeah, that’s what I tell myself now, but will end up preordering Darklon anyway. Sigh.

Hey PV, great to see you!
The Island came and went a few different times – Hackers were really the end of it. DB become corrupted and DevilzFan decided that was a wrap.
The folks from the Island are still around, albeit spread out amongst the internet. You can find most on FB.
As far as I know, I’m the only one from the group still “newsing”. Hard to believe it’s been 22+ years already!

Oh, so nothing hard, really, LOL! Brother, the only one I have on that list is a keeper for me and that’s TF Outback. I don’t have any of the others (Sorry!) but I’ll keep my ear to the ground and connect you with anyone trustworthy that I come across.
