We kicked off the week with a trip down to Bee’s Battlegrounds, where he treated us to a review of the Air Eagle VE-01 from Fans Hobby. We then got to check out a first look at G.I.Joe #4, courtesy of Skybound Entertainment. Things wrapped on Monday with a Roboskull campaign update from the fine folks at Skeletron.

We took it old school midweek, celebrating #whalewednesday with a look back at the killer artwork from IDW Publishing’s G.I.Joe Silent Option book. In the spirit of the day, we also checked out the very first commercial showcasing the WHALE against the Cobra Rattler.

On Thursday, we checked out a throwback review of the 1987 G.I.Joe A Real American Hero Battle Armor Cobra Commander figure. Later that day, we checked out a preview of G.I.Joe A Real American Hero #314, courtesy of Image Comics.

Friday wanted to make sure we kicked off the weekend the right way, bringing us a Callsign: Longbow update from the folks at Grindstone toys, followed by word from the team at Iron Studios that they’d be dropping a 1:10 scale Storm Shadow statue alongside their Snake Eyes offering. Finally, Gridiron Studios shared word of their upcoming 1:12 scale Jungle Hound, and absolute monster of a buggy for your 6″ military figures!

On Saturday we celebrated G.I.Joe day and what a day it was! Just after midnight, I posted my customary happy G.I.Joe day post, followed by an #ICYMI segment focused on Guy Cassaday’s Battlefield Robot artwork for sale. Later that morning, we got our Saturday morning cartoon fix with an episode of Galaxy Rangers. On Saturday afternoon, Hasbro set the G.I.Joe community on fire with a drop of digital renders showcasing upcoming GI.Joe Classified Series offerings.

It’s #cobrasunday! Time to share some awesome photography from throughout the community on Instgram, spending times with my littles and of course, keeping my ear to the ground for anything worthwhile to share here with you.
Some have asked why am I not covering the leak list currently on Reddit..and that’s because with all due honesty, we already knew/know that most, if not all of that list was inbound, so it almost feels planted…but that could also be just me being cynical, so time will tell.
On that note, I thank each and every one of you for spending some of your valuable time this past week here on the ‘Port. It’s an honor to geek out with you as always and I look forward to doing so again with you in the week to come. I’ll of course be back today should anything pop up, but otherwise, I’ll see you all tomorrow. Have a kick ass week ahead!
