The Triple T looks awesome! I hope we get to see it in Night Force colors somewhere down the line. Few pairings in G.I. Joe history are as instantly recognizable as Sgt. Slaughter and his Triple “T” tank. Bringing together pro wrestling star power and rugged battlefield firepower, this combo remains one of the most sought-after entries in the A Real American Hero toy line.
Here’s a bit of backstory for those interested:
Sgt. Slaughter joined the G.I. Joe roster in 1985, lending his real-life persona as a WWE (then WWF) wrestling legend to the toyline. Known for his drill-instructor bark and no-nonsense attitude, Slaughter quickly became a fan favorite both on the shelf and in the animated series and comics that followed.
The Triple “T” Tag Team Terminator debuted in 1986 as Sgt. Slaughter’s personal vehicle. It’s a compact tankette featuring:
- White armor plating with black treads
- Dual-mounted guns positioned behind the driver’s seat
- A rugged, low-profile design built for close-quarters assault
The vehicle was bundled with the Sgt. Slaughter action figure, making it a natural pairing for collectors and kids alike.
