G.I. Joe Classified Series #207, Clifton “Iceberg” Nash
G.I. The brave members of G.I. Joe are prepared to seek out Cobra in any environment on the planet. From hostile jungles to ice-clad arctic peaks…wherever there’s trouble, G.I. Joe is there.
New to the G.I. Joe Classified Series line, Clifton “Iceberg” Nash comes ready for adventure, with multiple points of articulation for high poseability. This Clifton “Iceberg” Nash figure contains 6 character-inspired accessory pieces including snow board, goggles, knife and 3 weapon accessories. The cold is Iceberg’s element. This is not to say that he’s unaware of the dangers of cold weather or impervious to the lethal effects of hypothermia. Iceberg’s just not happy until the mercury dips below zero. Give him a rifle and an icicle, and you’ll have an igloo full of prisoners before night fall.

Iceberg, the G.I. Joe Team’s arctic-warfare specialist (real name Clifton L. Nash), first hit shelves in 1986 as part of the fifth series of Hasbro’s 3¾” A Real American Hero line, packing a single arctic rifle and standing in as the team’s new snow trooper after Snow Job’s debut a few years earlier. That original figure stuck around through 1987 with no major changes before being phased out, though he briefly resurfaced via Hasbro Direct mail-order in 1991. He got his first true update in 1993 as part of the Battle Corps line, numbered third in that 36-figure series and loaded out with a much bigger kit: rifle, handgun, knife, machete, a spring-loaded missile launcher, and even a snowboard (wicked!) before being discontinued domestically in 1994. A third version followed in 1997, and then, after a long gap, collectors got a fourth: a 2013 Iceberg released as the Official G.I. Joe Collectors’ Club’s membership-exclusive figure, also sold carded at that year’s International G.I. Joe Convention in Indianapolis.
Iceberg then sat out the modern 6″ Classified Series for years while fans speculated about him, with Hasbro finally confirming him as a name-only reveal at SDCC 2025 alongside characters like Lifeline and Night Viper. That promise paid off in 2026: Hasbro unveiled him as Classified Series #207, arriving with six accessories including a snowboard, goggles, a knife, and three weapons, with pre-orders opening on Hasbro Pulse for $27.99 and a November 2026 release window. That gives Iceberg roughly five distinct mainline releases across forty years: 1986, 1993, 1997, 2013, and 2026, plus the odd mail-order and convention variant along the way, making him a nice little snapshot of how far the G.I. Joe toy line has evolved since its “real American hero” beginnings.
Thanks as always to Bobby for the review. Will you be adding this one to your collection?
