The Backerkit page for the project is chock full of intel, so I’ve compiled that data below for your reading pleasure. Check it out below, then join me at the jump for final thoughts!
Enter the world of Templars! A 3.75″ O-Ring Action Figure Adventure line where comic book storytelling, customization, and world-building collide. Forge your own legends with Pop-N-Swap parts, interchangeable gear, and modular terrain stands!
The Journey to Templars
If you’re reading this, chances are you understand the feeling.
You remember standing in the toy aisle, staring at rows of action figures and imagining adventures that stretched far beyond the packaging. Every figure had a story. Every vehicle was a gateway to another world. Every comic book expanded those worlds even further.
I never outgrew that feeling.
For most of my life, I’ve been a collector, a comic fan, and a lifelong student of the action figure hobby. Through my YouTube channel, I’ve spent countless hours discussing G.I. Joe, classic toy lines, comic books, and the creativity that made them special. Along the way, I’ve designed and 3D-printed accessories, display pieces, and diorama elements to bring those worlds to life on my own shelves.
But eventually, a question began to grow in the back of my mind:
“What if I stopped talking about creating and actually built something of my own?”
That’s where Templars began.
Templars is my love letter to the action figure lines that inspired generations of fans. It’s built around everything I loved as a kid and everything I still love today: action figures, comic books, world-building, imagination, and storytelling.
At its core, Templars is a 3.75″ O-Ring Action Figure Adventure line inspired by the classics, but designed for modern collectors and creators. Heroes and villains battle across the globe for powerful ancient artifacts capable of changing the fate of humanity. Every character has a story. Every artifact has a history. Every adventure opens the door to another.
But Templars is more than an action figure line.
It’s a storytelling platform.
It’s a comic book universe.
It’s a customizable world that collectors can build and expand.
With Pop-N-Swap compatibility, interchangeable gear, and modular accessories, Templars is designed to encourage creativity. Whether you’re displaying figures on a shelf, building scenes for toy photography, creating your own stories, or following the official comic adventures, the world grows with you.
This project exists because of the same passion that brought many of us into this hobby in the first place.
The excitement of discovering a new character.
The thrill of opening a new figure.
The stories we created when no one was watching.
Today, that passion becomes something new.
With your support, Templars moves from an idea, to a comic, to a fully realized action figure universe.
Thank you for joining me on this journey.
The adventure begins now.
