Although I’m a strong supporter of all things 1:18 and love to see a new Flight Pod make its way to market, I cannot justify paying $55 for this set, as it’s literally $10 more than what we received in/from the Classified Series range with the release of the Python Flight Pod with Tele-Viper –

Now, don’t get me wrong, I completely understand the cost of new tooling, smaller scale, smaller production run, et al. I just don’t see the value here, especially when I can hop on the secondary market and pick up a vintage example at or around the same cost, with the only exception being that I’d have to replace the pilot.

So, what say you, G.I.Joe o-ring faithful? Will you be picking this piece up? If so, will you be troop building? Or will you be skipping it all together? I’d love to hear your thoughts on this one, so sound off below!
