Synapse’s file card gives him real narrative weight. He’s a Darklonian oligarch-turned-cybernetics pioneer who was left for dead after Mistress Armada carried out an assault ordered by Destro, and he’s since aligned with Cobra Commander to pursue revenge using whatever means necessary. It’s a solid villain-origin hook that should resonate with longtime fans following the Destro/Cobra Commander power dynamics.
Accessories & Articulation
This is where the figure earns its shelf price. The set includes six character-inspired accessories: a mindspike whip, an EMP Pulse backpack with an antenna arm attachment, a synaptic claw, an alternate hand, and an additional weapon accessory. Combined with the line’s high point-count articulation built for dynamic diorama posing, Synapse should offer plenty of display versatility , though as with other figures in the line, some of the more dramatic poses may need extra support to hold steady.

One important note for anyone hunting this down: Although he’s dropping overseas, as of now, Synapse is a preorder, not a current release. Hasbro has it listed at $27.99 with an expected November 2026 release window. So while he’s newly announced and available to reserve, he’s not yet in collectors’ hands.
Verdict
For fans wanting something other than another rifle-and-fatigues figure, Synapse’s cyberwarfare angle and loaded accessory set make him a promising pickup; Just wait until the November ship date.
