Operation Recall March 2025 Project Update

Heads up! Carson of 3DJoes.com has an update against his Operation: Recall project! The latest intel gives us the scoop on factory work, Wave 1 & 2 packaging, sculpting, casting and packaging paintings! Holy cow, that’s a lot! Check it out below –

O:R UPDATES: Wave 1 factory work, Wave 1 and 2 packaging, sculpting and casting, and package paintings!

Operation: Recall Army! 

Update #48 featured a 22 minute video walking through figure development: including the first two factory prototypes and 3D sculpt revisions of the next two figures, the A.T.L.A.S. and Orthrus logos (by Ron Rudat), our all-new figure and art display stands, and the latest paint masters. Please have a look when you can.

Update #49 showed off the revised figures stands and the first draft of the wave 1 packaging. 

This time I’ll share (1) the factory’s progress on finalizing the wave 1 figures and accessories, (2) wave 1 and wave 2 packaging, (3) Scott’s sculpting and casting update, and (4) Doug’s Year One paintings!  

UPDATE 1: Wave 1 figures 

This one amazing image shows all four Wave 1 figures at 1:1 scale.

UPDATE 3: Scott Andrews sculpting and casting

Scott Andrews is making final head sculpt revisions for the Year One Cadavers trooper and the Year Two Cadavers officer. The Cadavers trooper is the last two Year One figure to be painted and moved into production. 

UPDATE 4: Doug Hart package paintings

Doug Hart just finished painting Scrounger and Luna, and we’re working through final tweaks. 

 

Doug’s last three Year One paintings are in the works, with line art already submitted and marked up. Here’s the latest for Salty Dawg, Lilith, and Night Raid & Ozzie.
