NYTF2025 has come and gone, but it sure did reveal a ton of fun stuff on the horizon to get excited about!
From M.A.S.K. to Marvel, Transformers to Rainbow Brite, there was undoubtedly something for everyone on display, including Joes…LOTS of them! Let’s get to it but before we do, allow me to share a special thanks to Preternia.com, Toy Hype USA and D__Amazing for the use of their photography and for the killer coverage they provided over the weekend! Make sure to follow them EVERYWHERE if you aren’t already!
Now on to the show!
Super7 ReAction+ G.I.Joe Wave 3

Super7’s 1:18 scale ReAction+ G.I.Joe wave 3 assortment was on display, including-
- Wild Bill
- Arctic Cobra Commander
- Snake Eyes (Comic colors)
- Cold Slither Zartan
What’s unfortunate to note is the use of AI in the card art, as Wild Bill has 6 fingers. (Maybe that’s why he’s wild?)
G.I.Joe Classified Series – San Diego Comic-Con 2025 Exclusive Cold Slither Boxset

There was a ton of stuff on display for Classified, including the SDCC exclusive Cold Slither Boxset! The packaging is absolutely awesome, representing the “Springfield Theater” where the band of Vipers will be playing their toon. Of note – the packaging not only shows Jem and the Holograms on one side, but Monkeywrench as well!

G.I.Joe Classified Mainline releases (including store exclusives)

Mainline offerings were plentiful, with a few store exclusives sprinkled in for good measure. On display were –
- Night Force Beach Head & Quick Kick 2 Pack (Walmart Exclusive)
- M.A.S.S. Device G.I.Joe Diver vs Cobra Diver 2 Pack
- Darklon
- Blowtorch
- Frag Viper
- Footloose
- Law & Order
- S.A.W. Viper
- Dreadnok Torch
- M.A.S.S. Device Snake Eyes & Polar Bear (Fan Channel Exclusive)
- Crystal Ball (Walmart Exclusive)
- M.A.S.S. Device Breaker (Target Exclusive)
That Crystal ball looks amazing, as does Quick Kick and even that Snake Eyes and Polar Bear, WOW! Gotta say though, not a fan of Darklon and he was the only one that I was picking up outside of Crystal Ball. Maybe that’ll change once I see him in person.
G.I.Joe Classified Retro Series

There were quite a few retro offerings on display, including:
- Rock n Roll
- Dr. Mindbender
- Cobra Viper
- Covergirl
- Flint
- Tele-Viper
Another unfortunate AI note – It appears as though AI was used to create the card art for Covergirl, Flint & Tele-Viper…as it’s just god awful. TV has extra fingers as well. Yikes.
G.I.Joe Classified Legacy Series

The first figure from the G.I.Joe Legacy Series was on display, giving us a look at the upcoming Firefighter in all his glory.
G.I.Joe Classified Series Vehicles and Playsets

There’s a few awesome vehicles and playsets on the horizon to support Cobra! On display were:
- Cobra Trench Viper with Cobra Bunker
- Cobra SNAKE Armor
- Cobra C.L.A.W. with Pilot
That SNAKE is HUGE! Love that a figure can fit inside of it too!
Well, my friends, that concludes my recap of the NYTF25. Many thanks again go to Preternia.com, Toy Hype USA and D__Amazing for the use of their photography and for allowing us to live vicariously through their eyes.
There’s more to come, so stay tuned!
