Incoming! Carson, the mastermind behind Operation: Recall, has been sharing intel drops reflecting “Year Two” figure development while the team works with the sculptors, the painters, and the factory to complete all 19 “Year One” figures.

Y2 F1 – Great Whites: Enemy Deep Sea Diver*, submitted by Raymond Theiss and reviewed by Ron Rudat, Mark Pennington, Kirk Bozigian, and R. Carson Mataxis. These figures will borrow arms and legs from the Year One Snakeheads figure, and will sport a similar deco. They are part of the same Orthrus underwater division.

Y2 F2 – Crossroads: Remote Weapons Technician*, submitted by Theodore Terranova and reviewed by Ron Rudat, Mark Pennington, Kirk Bozigian, and R. Carson Mataxis. This figure will feature a remote battlefield weapon that will disassemble and pack onto his rucksack. Ron Rudat will handle design for this upcoming figure.

Y2 F3 – Matchstick: Enemy Arsonist*, submitted by Adam Riches and reviewed by Ron Rudat, Mark Pennington, Kirk Bozigian, and R. Carson Mataxis. This pyromaniac is sure to come with some exciting accessories and a stealthy design. Mark Pennington will handle design for this upcoming figure.

Y2 F4 – Aurelius: Anti-Grav Laser Trooper*, submitted by Adam Riches and reviewed by Ron Rudat, Mark Pennington, Kirk Bozigian, and R. Carson Mataxis. These high flying Orthrus operatives will come with high tech weapons and a cutting edge backpack with translucent power source. Ron Rudat will handle design for this upcoming figure.

Y2 F5 – Glidepath: Wingsuit Air Assault Specialist*, submitted by Theodore Terranova and reviewed by Ron Rudat, Mark Pennington, Kirk Bozigian, and R. Carson Mataxis. This daredevil figure will secure the skies on behalf of ATLAS. Mark Pennington will handle design for this upcoming figure.

I’m not all in, but I cherry picked. While I think all these figures will probably end up being fantastic, some of them just didn’t appeal to me.
I am also excited about there being more than just the figures with this line. Carson teased a potential comic at JoeFest this year. His pitch was very compelling…interested in seeing how it ends up.
