Heads up! This past Sunday, Ramen Toy shared word that they’d be expanding their Makina Labs line, a homage to M.A.S.K., into 1:18 scale with the announcement of Slavi with Overbite, coming soon to Makina Labs!
Based on the Piranha Motorcycle/Submarine from M.A.S.K., the bike includes it’s driver, Sly Rax and will undoubtedly be awesome, as demonstrated by other MAKINA LABS offerings in 1:24 scale from Ramen.
Speaking of which, Ace, the shopkeep at Ramen, noted that not only would this piece be offered in 1:24 as well, but that their other M.A.S.K. homages would be released in 1:18 scale as well! Color me excited!

You know, Matt? That’s a great question. Last word received was that Ramen was hit with a C&D over their “not thunderhawk”, as The Loyal Subjects has been given rights to the license by Hasbro and will be producing 1:25 scale offerings coming in 2025.
I’ll see if I can get more details.

oh 😦 so this might all be scrapped? Didn’t Ramen toys research this before annoucing and building this?

That my friend, I am unsure of. I do believe that they (Ramen) had an open dialog with Hasbro, but I’m not privy to the content of that/those conversation(s) other than hearing about the C&D. Hopefully TLS is handling 1:25 while Ramen takes on 1:18, but I’ll do a bit of digging and see what I can find out.
