Reenlisted for Flight Warrant Officer School and has since remained in service assigned to G.I. Joe. A lot of chopper pilots won’t think twice about taking you into a hot landing zone. But as soon as you hit the ground, they’re gone. It’s when you need to get out of that LZ, when the enemy is working overtime, and you think no pilot in his right mind is coming back for you – that’s when Wild Bill appears with the cavalry.

Finished in top ten of his class. Destro is the faceless power behind M.A.R.S. (Military Armaments Research System) Industries, the largest manufacturer of state-of-the-art weaponry. Once a major supplier and advisor to Cobra, Destro has grown weary of Cobra Commander’s ambitions and decided to seize global control under his own rule, coalescing his influence in the small European nations of Trans-Carpathia and neighboring Darklonia. Adorned in his full battle regalia, Destro commands an all-out invasion, of his Iron Grenadier forces, leading them into battle atop the Despoiler. To Destro, war is man’s most natural state: the fittest survive and the greatest technological advances are made. G.I. Joe’s forces may not be able to stop Destro’s aggressive advances on their own.

G.I.Joe Renegades Red Dog & Taurus

Next up, the team shared word that the previously seen Red Dog and Taurus would finally be up for preorder, giving fans the chance to round out their Renegades team!

“Red Dog” and “Taurus”, like the rest of the highly secretive G.I. Joe branch called The Renegades, are tough, unruly, and most importantly willing to take on “secret” missions some Joes might deem “out of character.”

This set features a classic design updated to bring the G.I. Joe Renegades, as introduced in G.I. Joe: The Movie, into the modern era.

Classified Dossier

There comes a time when even the Joes, with the highest standards of military discipline, must resort to unconventional tactics in order to successfully complete a mission. The Renegades are the Joes’ answer to offensive ullying. This highly secretive branch of G.I. Joe is made up of soldiers who are not your typical Gung-Ho oe. They’re tough, unruly, and most importantly willing…willing to take on “secret” missions the Joes ight deem “out of character.” The Renegades are hardened, unyielding, and the tour-de-force of counter-Cobraism.

File Name: Ayvazyan, Varujan
Primary Specialty: Demolitions
Secondary Specialty: Mountaineering
Birthplace: Istanbul, Turkey

The Renegades aren’t carried on the rosters of any existing military unit. There is no computer access to their dossiers and they’re paid through a special fund earmarked for “Pest Control.” This gives the Renegades a freedom of operation that the Joes can’t match. It also means that their superiors can deny everything if they’re Caught.

Taurus was a circus acrobat in Europe who did occasional undercover work for an international police task force. His circus act involved breaking two-by-fours on his own face, a feat which so impressed the G.I. Joe top brass, he was recruited on the spot. Taurus has been cross-trained in explosives and mountaineering and is fluent in a dozen languages.

“He’s an animal. He stops hockey pucks with his forehead and opens bottles with his nostrils. Lucky for us, he does everything G.I. Joe HQ tells him!”
