Walmart Collector Con – G.I. Joe Classified Series D.I.R.E. Tech Night Creeper

Walmart’s Collector Con kicked off today and as reported earlier, both the “America’s 250th Anniversary” Retro Duke and D.I.R.E. Tech Night Creeper went up for sale today (and sold out just as quickly). We’ll take a look at each separately, wrapping up with official product details and images for the D.I.R.E. Within the Cobra ranks, Night-Creepers combine stealth training with Cobra’s exploration into arcane mysticism. Their mastery allows them to manipulate D.I.R.E. (Dread-Inducing Responsive Energy) Tech, enabling them to create mental and physical projections without the need for a containment pack.

The figure comes packaged in a window-box display featuring the accessory loadout, character File Card Icons, original artwork, and digital renders.

I know it goes without saying that Walmart doesn’t have the best track record when it comes to exclusives; Either none can be found in store, or online orders are canceled after months of waiting. Hopefully that isn’t the case here, as I know many collectors are looking forward to adding this troop builder to their collection. Me personally? I’d have preferred a dip in to the Plague subgroup, but I’m sure we’ll cross that bridge eventually.
