G.I. Joe Classified Series Dawn Moreno Snake Eyes Revealed

Earlier today, Larry Hama, joined by BMac of the Hasbro G.I.Joe team, revealed a new figure joining the G.I.Joe Classified Series range, none other than Dawn Moreno!

For those unfamiliar with Dawn, she’s one of the most intriguing modern additions to the G.I. Joe universe; A skilled operative who steps into the legacy of the legendary Snake Eyes while carving out her own identity (she became Snake Eyes III after the death of Snake Eyes). We’ll get more into that below. For now, let’s check out a few images –

The reveal came via a signing at Midtown Comics, where Larry was in attendance signing copies of G.I.Joe ARAH #325 while on a whatnot live stream.

With New York Toy Fair kicking off this weekend, it was the perfect spot to drop a new reveal, especially one of the newer characters created by Larry.

Introduced in the comics (IDW series), Dawn is a tough, disciplined, and highly capable ninja trained within the Arashikage clan. After the death of Snake Eyes, she assumes his mantle for a time, honoring his sacrifice while proving she’s more than just a replacement. Cobra Commander had Dawn placed in the Brain-Wave Scanner where Doctor Mindbender was to impart Cobra indoctrination in Moreno’s mind. The Baroness though believed this would damage the girl’s natural talent and tried to tamper with the process. This inadvertently transferred the Arashikage ninja skills recorded in the machine after taking a copy of Snake Eyes mind. 

Dawn blends stealth, swordsmanship, tactical intelligence, and quiet intensity with a grounded, human perspective that makes her instantly compelling. For new fans, think of her as a next-generation warrior who respects tradition but isn’t defined by it—a character who embodies resilience, loyalty, and the evolving future of G.I. Joe.

She’ll be going up for preorder tomorrow, Thursday, February 12th at 1pm. She’s a general release figure, so you’ll be able to snag her from your favorite etailer.
