It’s time for another weekly recap of all the articles that were shared this past week right here on the ‘Port!
After a pair of quiet weeks around these parts, there were a few touchpoints to chat about for both 1:18 and 1:12 collectors. Check out the recap below –

On Tuesday, Cold Slither dropped a Christmas themed track! The metal force born from G.I. Joe lore is back with a holiday twist — “Cobra Claws Are Coming To Town” is out now, and it’s anything but your usual Christmas song. Packed with sleigh bells, shredding riffs, and the band’s signature rebellious energy, the new single and its high-octane video deliver seasonal chaos Cold Slither-style. The Dreadnoks are here to storm your playlists and bring some loud, unhinged holiday spirit. Crank it up and lock those chimneys — the Cobra Claws are riding tonight! 🤘

Heads up, G.I. Joe fans — Cobra’s winter war machine is rolling out! ❄️On Friday, Hasbro shared a fresh look at the Classified Series Arctic H.I.S.S. tank, giving collectors a closer look at this icy armored beast ahead of its limited-time preorder window (open through early January). Alongside the tank and its Arctic driver, three new render reveals have popped up that hint at the snowy forces set to hit shelves in 2026 — including an Arctic Steel Corps Trooper, an Arctic S.A.W. Viper, and a Cobra Drift Viper. ❄️

This Saturday’s cartoon segment brought back some classic G.I. Joe animated goodness, which to me is the perfect way to kick back with your favorite bowl of cereal (holiday break mode activated!).
On the hobby side, the Operation: Recall community is buzzing — backers are finally getting their hands on wave one, with Carson giving us a peek at the Wave Two engineering pilot figures, and the early feedback is full of excitement as these prototypes make their way into collectors’ setups.
Whether you’re revisiting animated Joe adventures or tracking every modeling milestone, it’s a great time to be part of the squad! The Operation: Recall wave 2 engineering pilots are AWESOME! I can’t wait to have them in hand!
As always, a sincere thank you to everyone who stopped by Surveillance-Port.com over the course of the week. Things have been a bit quiet around here lately, so it’s genuinely refreshing to have new topics to kick around and to do it with like-minded fans who share the same enthusiasm. That interaction is what keeps this place fun and worth coming back to.
With Christmas now just four days away, we’ll be shifting into family time over the coming week. That said, if anything relevant pops up, we’ll be sure to share it here. Thanks again for reading, and wishing you all a great lead-in to the holiday🎄
