New to the G.I. JOE Classified Series line, Edwin “Lifeline” Steen comes ready for adventure, with multiple points of articulation for high poseability. This Edwin “Lifeline” Steen figure contains 11 character-inspired accessory pieces including helmet, backpack, medic bag, breathing mask, blood bag, flashlight, knife, 2 goggles, weapon accessory, and his signature green glasses. The troops have to know that if something really heavy comes down on them and they’re in no condition to walk out of the mess, somebody is going to have the heart to wade in and extricate them. That somebody is Lifeline.
The 1986 line of G.I.Joe offerings is iconic and one that I think many fans would agree includes at least one character on everyone’s “favorites” list. Lifeline is no exception. His medical gear was so cool and he breathed new life into thumbless & crotchless figures, as now Doc had help on the battlefield.
The Classified version is a faithful update that I’m uber tempted to add to my collection. Hopefully we see an eventual Tiger Force repaint.
