Let’s have a look at some concepts / ideas that were proposed for the 1980s and 1990s G.I. Joe A Real American Hero line. Some great ideas by designers like Ron Rudat, Greg Berndtson, Guy Cassaday, Frank Coroneos etc that were left unmade. Yes we had characters like Dusty in 1985 and onwards, but we could have had a lot more desert troopers and vehicles. Have a look at this history of the toys we could have seen.

I would’ve loved to have vehicles like the Goliath, or figures like Desert Rat in my collection. Although Super7’s ReAction+ offerings are focused on the ARAH cartoon, I’d love to see figures and vehicles that could’ve been become reality. Fingers crossed!
