This week was the lead up to San Diego Comic-Con 2025 and what a week it was! From 1:18 to 1:12, games to music, there was undoubtedly something for everyone across the G.I.Joe community.

- Super7 Reveals BBTS Exclusive Cold Slither Box Set
The week kicked off with a pair of teasers from Super7, showcasing the DiC Serpentor and Issue #53 B.A.T. that were briefly shown at JoeFest earlier this year.
Later in the day, Hasbro shared a presser highlighting their roadmap for SDCC. Finally, a shared BBTS/Super7 ReAction+ Cold Slither Box set was revealed, marking the 3rd (!!!) color variation of the set to drop for SDCC. Fun fact? As of the time of this post, 2 of the 3 sets have sold out!

- RISK G.I. JOE: Special Missions Live On Kickstarter
On Tuesday, Super7 followed up to their earlier teasers by giving us a full look at their convention exclusive Serpentor and B.A.T. offerings, both of which subsequently went up for preorder (and have already shipped!). Tuesday also brought word of a new kickstarter campaign for a RISK G.I.Joe: Special Missions game from Renegade Game Studios that has already blown it’s initial funding goal out of the water!

- Walmart Collector Con G.I. Joe Classified Series Night Force Beach Head and Quick Kick
- G.I.Joe Classified Series Pythona Revealed
SDCC wasn’t the only con going on this week, as Walmart’s collector con was on Thursday, giving collectors a chance at adding Night Force Beach Head and Quick Kick to their collection. That same day, Hasbro held their SDCC Breakfast event where fans in attendance were given a first look at the upcoming Classified Pythona figure.

On Friday, the G.I.Joe Classified Series panel took place at SDCC and brought with it a few surprises. Fans in attendance were not only greeted by a few known releases (Sci-Fi, et al), but also got to feast their eyes on new drops, like the Cobra Ghost Viper and Steel Corps Sentry. It’s #cobrasunday, my friends! What a great week for G.I.Joe fans. Seriously, there was a lot of griping across the community (Surprise!), but if you step back and look, it’s fantastic that G.I.Joe is everywhere – live music, records, games (both tabletop and electronic), 2 different scales…there really is something for everyone.
With that, I look forward to bringing you more joe-centric topics next week, so I hope to see you here. Until then!
