The G.I.Joe Brand Panel at San Diego Comic-Con has come and gone, but has brought with it some fun stuff to talk about.

Pickings were slim outside of items that were publicly known, but what was shown will definitely excite fans of the line. Check it out –
First up, the team jumped right in to their current HasLab campaign for the G.I.Joe Snow Cat. I’m not going to deep dive into this piece, as everyone is well aware of all details on the Snow Cat up to this point. If you’d like to learn more, click through below –

RENDER REVEALS
Next up came render reveals, giving us a look at a new figure, 2 pack and playset. First up? A Target Exclusive 2 pack featuring Short Fuze and Steeler! Worlds without end, anyone?

I love that Short Fuze! I’m sure there’s going to be a whole lot of folks that complain about the lack of MOBAT with Steeler, but it is what it is. Look for this set to be a Target exclusive with limited availability on Pulse.
Next up came a new character and a rather cool one at that, the Cobra Ghost Viper –

It was noted that the Ghost Vipers report to Crystal Ball and use the same tech he uses to instill fear in their enemy. Wicked!
From there, we’re given another look at the previously revealed Pythona figure, who will be a Fall 2025 Convention Exclusive (PulseCon, London, etc).

The team then went into recent render reveals leading up to SDCC, with the inclusion of a new playset/figure.
Sci-Fi

Wet-Suit

Cobra Grim Viper

Mainframe

Desert Scorpion (Deluxe)

Last up was G.I.Joe’s answer to Cobra’s Port-o-Potty, the G.I.Joe Modular Defense Post with Steel Corps Sentry –

The Sentry looks like a cool repaint, but as to why they won’t just drop a checkpoint alpha or watch tower is beyond me.
Look for these items to drop for preorder on Tuesday, July 29th.
Name Only Reveals
For me, this segment was the money shot of the presentation, as it dropped a slew of characters that fans have been jonesing for –
- Lifeline
- Hit & Run
- Night Viper
- Big Lob
- Iceberg
That’s a nice mix of ’86 and ’88! I will definitely need that H&R in my collection, that’s for sure.
What’s odd is that Iceberg is pushed out as a name only reveal, as with the Snow Cat currently funding, the line is in desperate need for more snow themed characters.
Cold Slither

The team closed things out talking about Cold Slither at Brick by Brick on Thursday night. The team also noted the upcoming general population drop of the cold slither set, slated for August 1st.
Teaser

Lastly, the team dropped this teaser. Cobra-La Royal Guard, perhaps? Venomous Maximus even? Time will tell.
With that, another G.I.Joe Panel from SDCC has come and gone. I would’ve loved to have seen more of a ReAction+ presence, but I’m sure that’s being left to S7.
What are your thoughts on the Classified items shown today? I think it’s a nice assortment, although I would’ve loved to have seen these name only reveals as the next wave, but eh, that’s a small nitpick.
