Yo Joe June – June 11th G.I. Joe Fanstream Postponed

Yo Joe June marches on, but unfortunately, today’s planned G.I.Joe fanstream did not. Shortly after kickoff time, Hasbro Pulse took to their social media channels to advise that the show had been postponed –

At the time, it was noted that preorders were postponed as well, which turned out to be inaccurate, as preorders did subsequently post at 1pm EST, albeit one figure short.

So, why the cancelation? No official word yet, but for those paying attention, the Legacy Action Joe Police Emergency Service Unit (ESU) figure was pulled from the preorder drop today. Do with that info as you will. No worries though, I have a full assortment of pictures from the ESU figure’s profile.

So, without further adieu, here’s the scoop on what went up for preorder today –

Now, as eluded to earlier, today’s drop was expected to have (5) offerings go up for preorder. The figure that was pulled was the G.I.Joe Classified Series Legacy Collection Action Joe – Police Emergency Service Unit (ESU) figure. Check it out –

With the ESU figure being pulled from the rotation, I hope that the change leads to something else being served up in its place.

As for the remaining offerings? Well, here’s my $0.02:

Greenshirt – About time.

B.A.T. – I know some wanted the red mask, but I personally am B.A.T.’d out…unless, of course, they wanna drop a B.A.A.T. Then I’m all in!

Slaughter/Mercer – I love that Slaughter is in his 2006 Convention Look. For those complaining about Mercer being “too small”…I dunno, watch a cartoon or something. I’m sure this will lead to a Red Dog/Taurus 2 pack down the line.

A.W.E. Striker – Crank Case? AWESOME! The A.W.E. Striker? Needs new front tires (yeah, yeah, I know, original/unique take). The vehicle overall looks good and I love the additional gear.

Legacy Police ESU – I could take it or leave it, but I’m happy to see that there’s a Cobra R.I.O.T. Trooper in our future.
