G.I.Joe Classified Series Retro Dr. Mindbender In Hand Review

It was way back in October of 2024 when the Retro version of Dr. Mindbender was officially revealed at NYCC, with the figure going up for preorder later than month. It was awesome to see, as it gave fans that missed out on the deluxe version a chance to add the character to their collection.

I’m digging this release quite a bit, as although the deluxe version included a bunch of awesome accessories, the throwback card art here is really doing it for me. The hue of purple (violet) is a smidge different, but he still looks great nonetheless.

The card backs on this wave look really good compared to previous waves, wouldn’t you agree? Also, as noted above, I’m excited for those that will finally be able to add Dr. Mindbender to their collection. I’m of the mindset that Dr. Mindbender is a core character post 1986, so you kinda need him in your collection, amirite? Will you be adding the Dr. to your collection?
