TEN-HUT! For this edition of #throwbackthursday, we’re deploying to the Battlegrounds for a review from Bobby Bee where sat down with all (4) of the G.I.Joe Minimate sets from Diamond Select Toys and gives us the “what’s what”. Here’s the scoop –

I’m a sucker for DST’s minimates line and their G.I.Joe offerings are no expection. As noted by Bobby in the vid, I’m beyond excited for the upcoming Adventure Team and SuperJoe offerings, as they will be welcomed additions to my ever growing Minimates collection! From Diamond Select Toys! Children of the 1980s thrilled daily to the adventures of G.I. A Diamond Select Toys release! Yo, Joe! The first series of G.I. Joe Minimates features some of the Joe team’s most popular characters in some seriously stylin’ packaging! Snake Eyes, Scarlett, Duke and Roadblock each come packaged on a full-color blister card, styled after the vintage cardbacks of old, and all four cards come packaged in a full-color box.

Each 2-inch Minimates figure is fully interchangeable and features 14 points of articulation.

A Diamond Select Toys release! The forces of Cobra strike back! This new footlocker box set features four carded G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero Minimates, and they’re all Cobra operatives! Cobra Commander, Storm Shadow, Destro and The Baroness each come on a retro-style blister card, and each 2-inch Minimate features multiple points of articulation and fully interchangeable parts. The four carded figures come in a footlocker-style storage box. Designed by Barry Bradfield!

Ninja Force (VHS) Minimates Box Set – NYCC 2022 Exclusive

A Diamond Select Toys release! Yo Joe! The GI Joe Ninja Force team makes their Minimates debut in this exclusive 4-pack! Snake Eyes, Scarlett and Storm Shadow team up to take on the Cobra scientist Dr. Biggles-Jones, as seen in the popular GI Joe comic book series! These 2-inch Minimates feature multiple points of articulation and fully interchangeable parts and accessories, and they slide out of an illustrated VHS sleeve! Designed and illustrated by Barry Bradfield!

As noted earlier, I absolutely love minimates and have been collecting them for quite some time. It’s awesome to see them get some love!
