Way back in 2018, I picked up the Contoured Terrain Battle Map with Buildings, Planes, Cannons & Boats from Marauder Gun-Runners. The following #throwbackthursday segment reflects a few quick shots and review for those out there interested in adding one to their collection!
I opted to use Modern Era figures in the photos, as they looked a bit better than o-ring offerings against the Map. Why, you ask? Well as you can see, this Map is indeed huge! It measures 8 inches long by 4 inches wide and an inch and a half at it’s tallest point. I picked up one of the Marauder Tables to hold it up, but I’d recommend two for stability.
The Map definitely lives up to it’s named, as the terrain is quite detailed. From mountain peaks to dirt roads to the ocean, this is indeed a very cool piece. It includes –
- 2 Buildings (1 Building, one Flight Tower)
- 3 Cannons
- 2 Battleships
- 3 Aircraft
