Official Skeletron Shares Roboskull Thanksgiving Update

Hello Roboskullers,

I’ve just enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving Day with my family, and now sit at my computer filled with gratitude.   Your responses to receiving the ROBOSKULL MKII & ROBOSKULL MKII SE have been absolutely joyful.  Thank you.  You’ve unquestionably reaffirmed that our Roboskull vision has come to to life.  To the Kickstarter backers who haven’t received your Roboskull quite yet-  they are inflight and will be at your door very soon.  I can’t wait for you to receive them!

Thank you ALL for your support.  This project would not have happened without your Kickstarter support, and it could never have been this big, bold, and wild without the 1,523 backers who pledged and took us further than we imagined.

I’d like to thank my SKELETRON partner, Mark O’Byrne, for the heart and soul he has poured into this project.   Mark had no idea what he was getting himself into when I first dashed into his office, dreaming big Roboskull dreams.  Thank you to our families- and especially our wives, who continued to support us as “Roboskullin” quickly overtook our lives.   Every night, every weekend, for much longer than we told them it would take.  And the journey continues!

Printed upon your fresh Roboskull MKII box is a long list of creatives who directly contributed to this project.  Thank you all.  To the the entire factory staff in China, led by Mr. Chen, Dave Proctor, and Alex Wu- Thank you for your absolute dedication to the craft of toymaking.

Shipping update

Since our last update, just five days ago:

• One ROBOSKULL MKII SE has shipped to every Kickstarter backer who pledged*
• One ROBOSKULL MKII has shipped to every Kickstarter backer who pledged*
• All Elite Flight Stands have shipped to every Kickstarter backer who pledged**

Thank you to our amazing fulfillment partner, Fulfillrite, who received our containers and worked tirelessly to ship all your Roboskulls and Flight Stands in just a few short days ahead of Thanksgiving. This crew is a true partner and we’re happy to provide a referral for anyone who has fulfillment needs.

*Canadian pledges are delayed due to the nationwide Canada Post strike.  We will provide an update on Canadian shipments next week!   Also note these shipments are for Kickstarter pledges+BackerKit Add-ons for Kickstarter pledges, and, as a reminder, BackerKit Pre-orders have not yet been fulfilled.

**Some of you also noticed a Trading Card Set included with your Flight Stand shipment.  These are BONUS Kickstarter Exclusive ROBOSKULL MKII Trading Card Sets that will ONLY be shipped to Kickstarter backers.  The quantity of sets you’ll receive is directly tied to the amount pledged to the Kickstarter campaign ($200 pledge and up), which was communicated during the final frenzy of the Kickstarter campaign.  Each set is sealed and comprises of a full and complete numbered card set.  Thank you, Brian Hickey, for working with us on this gorgeous celebration of ROBOSKULL MKII artistry.  If you did not order a Flight Stand, but pledged more than $200 during the Kickstarter, we will be getting these cards to you- so please stay tuned.

Our next container of ROBOSKULL MKII & MKII SE has landed in California!  We expect to have confirmation next week on a delivery date to our fulfilment center!

Upcoming Items

Development is ongoing for your remaining Kickstarter items.  I am so thankful to our 6″ figure fans who have watched our 3.75″ O-ring and 4″ figures deliver.  While our 6″ figures are indeed very delayed, I remain confident they will be amazing.  

The TOTAL ROBOSKULL hardcover release has been delayed to include even more product details and stories from this Kickstarter journey.  Authors Brian Hickey & Paddy Lennon have been incredible partners at every step of development, and this delay comes straight from me. Supported by backer feedback I’ve received, I believe the extra wait will be worthwhile and result in an exceptional final product.
