Hiya Toys G.I.Joe Exquisite Mini Series Cobra Commander Review

When Hiya Toys announced a collaboration with Hasbro, there was a ton of excitement around the idea of a new line of 1:18 G.I.Joe offerings under their “Exquisite Mini Series” banner.

Well, needless to say, G.I.Joe collectors outside of Asia have had an impossible time getting their hands on these. That curse, however, appears to have been lifted, as we now have a U.S. based review of Cobra Commander.

With our designer’s secondary creations of Cobra commander we bring new image to him, he wears his blue battlesuit with Cobra logo, stands at 4.1 inches tall with 17 points of articulation for poseability. The face mask and part of helmet are painted in silver. The mark on the belt, the edge of the gloves and the Cobra mark on the chest are accented with red.

Accessories include 4x changeable hands, 1x pistol, 1x snake engraved with a snake head symbolizes the identity of the gold painted scepter and knife.

With recent previews of Beach Head and Firefly direct from Hiya themselves, one would assume that we should start seeing these start flowing on the secondary market. Any particular figures you plan on getting? There’s a few that I know I can’t live without, like that redesigned Viper.
