Hasbro Pulse Con 2024 Panel Recap and Preorder Details

Hasbro’s Pulse Con 2024 has come and gone. The G.I.Joe segment was short (roughly 20 minutes) but included a look at 4 new preorders alongside Starduster.

First up was a look at Starduster, which included a story behind the photography used for the figure, where Starduster was doing a promo add for his Stars & Stripes cereal, only to have a Cobra Valkyrie try to steal it! New to the G.I. Joe Classified Series line, Dial-Tone comes ready for adventure, with multiple points of articulation for high poseability. This Dial-Tone figure contains 6 character-inspired accessory pieces including mobile device, communications pack with flip down microphone, bionic ear, knife, and weapon accessories as well as his signature beret. Jack Morelli built his own communications equipment using money earned by bagging groceries. Dial-Tone joined the military as a means to further his education but quickly found it offered a job with a purpose. He maintains the vital flow of information between a field operation and base.

Next up in the presentation came word of the winners from Hasbro’s 1st Annual G.I.Joe Hall of Fame Induction. The winners include –

FAVORITE ACTION JOE (1964)

The winner of this category was the Action Soldier, alongside Mr. Stanley Weston, the man responsible for the original idea for G.I.Joe.

FAVORITE 1982 ARAH FIGURE

You guessed it, the winner of the favorite 1982 ARAH category went to everyone’s favorite silent commando, Snake Eyes.

G.I. JOE CLASSIFIED TOY OF THE YEAR

The G.I.Joe Classified Series category went to the fan favorite VAMP with Clutch.

The panel wrapped up with a look a live look at the G.I.Joe: Wrath of Cobra video game. It was later noted that the team missed sharing digital renders, but name dropped “hunt for the MASS Device”. If that Pilot Baroness is any indication, maybe we’re getting a run of figures with decos straight out of that series? Maybe the bits to build a M.A.S.S. device of our own? Time will tell.
