Super7 has revealed their San Diego Comic-Con 2024 G.I.Joe Exclusives, including two Ultimates offerings and one ReAction release. Here’s the scoop –
SDCC 2024 Exclusive G.I.Joe Ultimates! Jungle Zartan
Debuting at Comic-Con 2024! This 7” scale, highly articulated G.I. Joe ULTIMATES! figure of Jungle Trap Zartan is inspired by the market scene in the episode of the same name, from the classic G.I. Joe animated series. Featuring intricate sculpt and premium paint detailing, this figure is also made of UV color-changing plastic that changes his skin to purple when exposed to sunlight! Outfitted with a removable soft goods robe, the figure also comes with multiple interchangeable heads and hands, and an assortment of additional accessories including a flute, a camera snake in a basket, a mind control crown, and more! Joe ULTIMATES! figure of Cobra Mortal is inspired by the vintage Argentine market toy and depicts the on-again, off-again Cobra assassin in his bright red-and-silver uniform. G.I.Joe ReAction Ashcan Snake Eyes
Debuting at Comic-Con 2024, this 3.75” scale, articulated G.I. Joe ReAction Figure of Snake Eyes is inspired by ashcan black and white comics and comes in a light gray colorway, and includes two weapon accessories. Available exclusively to Comic-Con attendees at Super7 Booth 2543 from July 24th – 28th, 2024, with limited quantities available to all fans on Super7.com on Monday, July 29th. #Super7 #GiJoe
These particular releases come at an interesting time for collectors of Super7, as the Ultimates line has been disregarded in exchange for Hasbro’s G.I.Joe Classified Series and ReAction is being skipped while folks wait for Super7’s ReAction+ line later this year. I personally might bite on the Ashcan SE if I’m able to, but I can’t see myself going out of my way to pick up any of the offerings shown today.
