Incoming! It was just a couple of weeks ago when I shared word that 3DJoes Soft Launched a Video Streaming Service.

Over the last decade we’ve been on a mission to document the stories of the folks that created G.I.JOE: A Real American Hero. We’ve traveled to Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Queens, Manhattan, Connecticut, South Carolina, Florida, Chicago, and more to interview folks like Kirk Bozigian (former G.I.JOE Brand Manager and Vice President of Boys Toys), Vincent D’Alleva (former G.I.JOE Brand Manager), Ron Rudat (former Hasbro designer and creator of the first six years of G.I.Joe figures), Mark Pennington (former Hasbro designer and creator of the next three years of G.I.JOE figures), Ed Morrill (former Partner of CLS&M, the packaging firm that created the packaging for G.I.JOE from 1969-1989), Doug Hart (former Hasbro artist responsible for the lion’s share of late 80s and early 90s G.I.JOE paintings!), Bill Merklein (contract sculptor that hand crafted over 70 G.I.JOE figures from 1983-1989), and Larry Hama (author and artist that has helped shape the ARAH universe for over 40 years). To date, we’ve filmed over 50 hours of comprehensive, multi-camera interviews with these legendary creators, and we’ve trimmed that down to 8 hours of all-new, deep-dive interviews! We’ve also gone back in and remastered a couple panels and previous shorts, adding captions, cutaway graphics, and more.

We finished editing and captioning this content weeks ago. We are still working on Blu-ray authoring for the Digipack, but in the meantime we’ve decided to publish all of this content LIVE on YouTube AND on an all-new 3DJoes Videos streaming platform!

Option 1: Join the 3DJoes YouTube Channel

First, you’ll want to head over to the 3DJoes YouTube Channel. As always, you can click “subscribe” to access all of the free and public-facing 3DJoes videos on YouTube, and you can set up reminders and push notifications so you don’t miss new videos. I set up notifications for my favorite content creators and now my smart TV shows me when they publish new videos.

Why charge a subscription fee for these videos?

They are expensive to make: travel expenses add up and editing time takes time away from profitable/billable work. We don’t make ANY money off of YouTube as it stands.
