Super7 G.I.Joe Ultimates Wave 6 Canceled

Just over a month after the word that preorders were launching, Super7 has shared word that G.I.Joe Ultimates Wave 6 has been canceled. Here’s the scoop –

We’re sorry to inform you that the pre-order for the G.I.Joe ULTIMATES! Wave 6 featuring Lady Jaye, Baroness & Scarlet figures has been cancelled. Unfortunately, the requirements for this release going into product were not met.

Now, allow me to note that there’s no reason for concern regarding the G.I.Joe o-ring line; Here, we had a wave of repainted figures that no one asked for, under a brand that no one is really supporting (GIJ ultimates). Hey though, you get a bunch of gear that should’ve come with other figures, lucky!

Had this been a wave of new figures, or highly sought after repaints (ie – an arctic bat or something), then I’d be equally as concerned. Here? They just didn’t hit min order qty.
