It’s time for another weekly recap of all the posts that were shared this week right here on the ‘Port!

It was a week plagued with sickness for me and my family here on the homefront, so articles are light this week, but worth the read none-the-less. Check it out –

Monday, March 4, 2024

I called an audible on Monday, as everyone in my home was sick, so nothing to share for this day. *Fun fact – This was my first mulligan in over a year! Fun-er fact? We’re JUST getting over the flu. Yikes!

Tuesday, March 5, 2024

On Tuesday we joined Adam of Shark Eyed Toy View for his review of the Gridiron Studios Enemy Mortar Trooper Loadout. Later that day, we received word of the JoeFest 2024 custom class offering, the Cobra Warlord!

Wednesday, March 6, 2024

On Wednesday, we got our first leak/look at the Walmart Collector Con Classified offering. Can you guess who? (By now, I’m sure you know)

Thursday, March 7, 2024

If you guessed Night Force Shockwave and another RAM repaint, you guessed right! Walmart Con will feature another Night Force offering, exclusive to Walmart with a few available on Pulse.

Side note – I’m not one to normally talk on topics like this, but I have to giggle at all these new fans that whine about repaints. Um, hi, welcome to G.I.Joe? “zOmG I’ll WAIT FOR IT AT ROSS!” Gotta love it. Makes you wonder why people have a hobby that causes them so much grief.

Friday felt like a normal news day around these parts, as there was a bit of news to share! Skybound Entertainment shared word of two new mini series, Scarlett and Destro (!!!), Carson shared word of the 2024 art of G.I.Joe Tour Kickoff, then followed with an update on Operation Recall and finally, we checked out a review of the Classified Airborne figure, courtesy of Bobby Bee / Bee’s Battlegrounds.

On Saturday, we tuned in for a viewing of the Cult Classic, Spiral Zone! Nothing better than Saturday morning cartoons, amirite?

Sunday, March 10, 2024

What’s on the agenda for #cobrasunday, my friends? It’s been a rough march for us so far healthwise, so for me, it’ll be more rest with my family as we try to get back to normalcy this week.

Friends, if I may make a recommendation, go and get the Flu shot if you haven’t already. Influenza (A) is a monster this year. At one point, my son had a fever of 104.8. Needless to say, Mom and I were mortified. Our Pediatrician? Eh, not so much. Apparently things have gotten so bad “out there”, that they’ve been seeing kids with 105 – 106 degree temps which is insane. Then again, I live in a state where Measles is spreading…

On that note, WASH YOUR HANDS and have a wonderful day ahead. I hope to be much more lively in the week to come, so stay tuned and thanks as always for spending some time here on the ‘Port with us! See you tomorrow!
