Carson has been at it today! Following his Art of G.I.Joe update came a new update against his highly anticipated line of o-ring figures, Operation: Recall! Check out the scoop below –

Hello Operation: Recall Army!
Physical sculpting is complete!
Bill Merklein and Mike Good have completed sculpting all 18 figures!
Below is a look at Mike Good’s masterpieces. Left to right are Mzimu Corps (with alternate head and scarred arms), Bear Claw + Wilson, SHHHH with hood, General Mortífero (with alternate head), Lilith (with alternate head and removable mask), and Salty Dawg. NOTE: these alternate pieces are not guaranteed, and will likely be Year Two releases. We are just planning ahead! (insert cheesy sound effect to accompany bad pun)

Below is a look at the latest from Bill Merklein. I just picked these up on Sunday. Left to right are Luna, Scrounger (with alternate head), Bengal, and Ozzie (Night Raid’s faithful K9 companion).

3D modeling and prototyping is complete!
Mark Gerwig has completed 3D modeling of all Year One accessories! Below is a look at Bill Merklein’s hand sculpted Tank 2up sporting his armor and missiles. Tank’s missile launcher will rest on top of Tank’s shell, and will feature the line’s only spring-loaded launcher! This line is going to be FUN.

Doug Hart continues bringing these characters to life through his vibrant and action packed paintings! He has completed seven paintings to date, with Dark Reapers just around the bend.
Speaking of painting…
I just delivered four 2ups for mold making and resin duplication. These resin copies will be used by Matthew LeCroy and Chris Scott (of Grindhouse Toys) to create paintmasters. I’m shooting for four completed paintmasters per month, but that will be depending on their availability.

An update on timing, and a plea for patience
I received a request for a refund from a backer today, and the backer cited that he “didn’t expect it to take so long.” I made clear that all Kickstarter funds have been or will be spent on development and manufacturing the 19 figures that we’ve funded during the Kickstarter and BackerKit periods. He followed up by asking the eta for these figures, and communicated that his understanding was that delivery was suppose to happen in Dec. 2023. I get it, really. That is what the Kickstarter stated after all.
But please understand that date was estimated based on developing four new Wave 1 figures and manufacturing five (including Retelo, who had already been developed). We are working to deliver 19 figures instead. That’s over 4X the development and manufacturing work.
We are all working as quickly as possible to develop this line, while ensuring that the creators have an enjoyable experience. I’m not going to press folks needlessly, or cut corners to meet an arbitrary deadline. Development and manufacturing will take as long as it takes. I hope you all enjoy the creative process along the way!
Want more frequent updates?
If you want more granular and frequent updates, and you want to see many more photos than the highlights shown here, please give the Operation: Recall social media channels a follow!
Thank you ALL for your support and your patience as we bring these figures to life!

I seriously cannot wait for this line!
