Heads up! Mr. Mike Mayhew, of Mike Mayhew Studio, shared word over the weekend that copies of G.I.Joe A Real American Hero #303 did not meet his rigorous QC standards, meaning that many may not receive the title. Here’s the scoop –

I regret to inform you that the quality control on received copies of G.I. JOE #303 was not on par with the standards of Mike Mayhew Studio which our customers have become accustomed to.
After a thorough inspection of XXX number of copies received, there are less than two dozen copies that passed and will be sent out to the first orders received only.
Damages have been reported to Lunar, and we are working with Skybound, Image, and Lunar on a solution. Stay tuned for an update.
I take pride in the quality of products we bring into your homes and know how important this is for your collections.
Before receiving #303, we ordered our G.I. JOE #304 Variant to have a cardstock cover. We hope this will eliminate concerns about damages and add value to the product.
Look for G.I. JOE #304 to be revealed soon.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
Mike
The good news? There are already reports out there that some have received their copy/copies (woo hoo!). Bummer otherwise, for sure, but thankfully Mike is a class act and will undoubtedly take care of all that ordered this particular issue directly from Mike Mayhew Studio.
Did you order Issue #303?
