Talking Joe Reviews Duke Issue 1

You know, I don’t do nearly enough of a good job around these parts when it comes to comic coverage. If you could see through my eyes, you’d see that right over there, in my study, are literal STACKS of books that have yet to be read. Sure, I go to my LCBS and grab my pull pile religiously…but sadly, that’s as far as that rabbit hole as gone as of late.

Thankfully, there’s gentlemen like Mr. Tim Finn who continuously do an outstanding job in covering all this comics, with the latest episode of Talking Joe being no exception!

This week, Tim & co-host Mark inspect Duke issue #1. Check it out –

About Talking Joe:

Talking Joe is a weekly podcast in which Mark, Tim & Jay and a revolving set of guests co-hosts review and discuss the ever evolving, always entertaining world of G.I. Joe comics. The journey began with Marvel’s epic 155 issue run and continues through to present day IDW and Devil’s Due eras.

So far, I’ve heard nothing but praise on not only Duke, but the recently released Cobra Commander as well. As such, hearing these gents echo that sentiment really helps drive my desire to dig these out and get to reading.

What’s your take on Duke #1? Did you enjoy it? Skipping it all together?

Many thanks to Mark & Tim for the deep dive. Make sure to subscribe to Talking Joe for more content just like this!
