I see that Super7 has just posted up the “making of” video (see earlier post), so I guess I’m good to reveal that I got to traditionally paint the card art for their first-ever o-ring G.I. Joe figure offering, the Cobra Viper Gunner!
It’s totally a dream project to be painting new art, for new characters, in o-ring style, and if you want to see me do more of it, feel free to let Super7 know on their social media!

I’m so excited to have o-ring back and having Adam create some of the new card art is wonderful, as he’s a top tier artist and one whose work I really enjoy. If you get a chance, check out his card art for Payload, one of my favorite G.I.Joe pieces from Adam.
What are your thoughts on the Viper Gunner?

Since I’m not really on social media anymore, I can’t say I’ve seen this firsthand. When listening to Audible Interlude they said a lot of folks were posting on Facebook that they were waiting until Monday the 11th to make their Mothership pledges. I guess we’ll find out tomorrow.

Yes Sir, I can co-sign that a lot of folks noted that they were waiting until the 11th. I personally did a 180; I was in, but now I’m out. Although it’s a gorgeous piece, space constraints have played a crucial factor in my decision process.
