The week kicked off on a very special note for me, as we got to check out the paint master for the upcoming Eagle Force GORE GILLS figure.
Back in 2018, Chris Irving of The Drawn Word held a Kickstarter campaign for his Eagle Force Pulp: Face The Fear title.
One of the campaign incentives that was offered immortalized “you” as a R.I.O.T. character that would meet a grim demise. My character was named after me, but after falling in battle to The Cat, I was experimented on and became the fearsome GOREGILLS! (It’s a play on my last name). So yeah, I’m just a bit excited. 🙂

Thursday brought good health and a ton of news! We got to check out a review of Classified Nunchuk courtesy of Shark Eyed Toy Reviews, pre-orders went live for Doctor Caligari from Operation: Monster Force, Super7 also dropped pre-orders for their ReAction G.I.Joe wave 7 assortment and finally, we got updated details on the highly anticipated G.I.Joe #301 and Duke comics, the latter coming later this year!

On Thursday, we got to check out Hiya’s latest EXQUISITE offering, the G.I.Joe Covert Ops specialist, Lady Jaye! Callsign: Longbow’s August 2023 SITREP brought us an updated look at Ghost, alongside some killer artwork from Mr. Doug Hart!
As if the day couldn’t get any better, Thursday also brought us word of an upcoming G.I.Joe retro-style side shooter video game, G.I.Joe: Wrath of Cobra!

Excitement filled the fandom on Friday, as word came through from Hasbro that the Tele-Viper and Flight Pod would be shipping soon! Friday also brought us a review courtesy of Bobby B. of Bee’s Battlegrounds, this time with a focus on the upcoming Night Force Wolf Spider figure (who is still unannounced for some reason?)
