G.I.Joe Classified Series Cobra Crimson Viper Review

It was 2002 (ugh, really?) when the Crimson Strike Team first made an appearance as a G.I.Joe Collectors Club convention exclusive set.

The set would make a reappearance in 2009; However, this time around, the set was released in the “modern era” format, giving the Baroness, Tomax, Xamot and their 12 Crimson Vipers modern articulation. Surprise – The fandom wasn’t happy. Many called the Club lazy for reintroducing the same set, same figures, et al. Funny how history has a way of repeating itself.

New for 2023 is our 5th flavor of Cobra Viper, the Crimson Viper. This figure is set to compliment the Crimson Strike Team, consisting of Baroness and the Twins, set to be released as as PulseCon exclusive later this year.

Now, I won’t lie to you, I have no plans on picking up any Crimson Vipers, or the Crimson Strike Team for that matter (well, maybe on the latter).

I’m Viper’d out, all things considered. That said, I’m happy for those that are looking forward to adding this figure to their collection, as it definitely is sharp.
