Unreleased G.I.Joe Robot Rebellion Vehicles at JoeFest

Heads up! If you’re heading to JoeFest this weekend, you may want to check out the Toy Federation table, as they have not one but two very cool unproduced items from the G.I.Joe Robot Rebellion/Rise of the Robots line up for grabs!

Robot Rebellion/Rise of the Robots was the next G.I.Joe line slated after Valor vs Venom, but was instead replaced by Sigma 6. The items shown here are retools/repaints from previous lines, Spy Troops and Valor vs Venom. Check’em out –

Rise of the Robots Smokescreen Transport (original version released as part of the Spy Troops line)

Rise of the Robots Night Adder (originally released as part of the Valor vs. Venom line)

I love seeing stuff like this! Again, many thanks to @knowheretoys for sharing these images, as it’s always so cool to see items that were destined for shelves and where they came from, or where they were eventually repurposed.

As noted above, these items will be available at the Toy Federation booth at #JoeFest, so if you want to add these to your collection, make sure to hit their booth FAST! #surveillanceport

What are theessseeeeee??? I’ve never heard of this “Robot Rebellion/Rise of the Robots” line. The Sigma 6 era was…complicated. Toys that were alternately too small and too large; good character designs wasted on an unwatchable cartoon.

And now I know that, in an alternate universe, Sigma 6 never happened and we could have gotten a continuation of the new sculpt/DTC era.

    *mind blown*

    Knowing is half the battle.
(A Rick-and-Morty portal gun is the other half.)

Yes Sir! Was set to be the line after VvsV; You’ve seen some of the line elsewhere – The Club offered a renewal figure that was Cobra Commander from the line. There was also a BAT set with Overkill, but there, we saw the BATs later reused in S6.
